Modern MedicalVesiculitis is inflammation of the seminal vesicles, two small glands behind the bladder in men that produce much of the fluid in semen. It can cause pain in the pelvis, lower abdomen or perineum, discomfort during or after ejaculation, and sometimes blood in the semen. It is usually linked to infection and often occurs alongside inflammation of the prostate.
