For family members
What does treatment cost?
We believe transparency about cost is a trust signal, not a vulnerability. Below is a realistic breakdown of what a typical treatment journey costs, including items families often forget to budget for — accompanying-family accommodation, travel, and post-discharge medicines. Exact figures depend on the condition, room category, and programme duration; this page gives you indicative ranges so you can plan.
Indicative cost ranges
These ranges are shared for planning purposes. Your actual programme cost is confirmed during the initial consultation after the physician assesses the condition, grade, and recommended protocol. Ranges below are for the standard 14-21 day inpatient programme.
| Item | Indicative Range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Initial Consultation (OP) | Shared during booking | In-person, phone, or video. Covers full assessment + treatment recommendation. |
| Inpatient Programme (14-21 days) | Shared during consultation | Includes all therapies, physician visits, medicines during stay, physiotherapy, yoga. Room category affects total. |
| Post-Discharge Medicines (3-6 months) | Shared during consultation | Oral formulations + external applications. Shipped monthly if patient is out of Madurai. |
| Accompanying Family — Room | Varies by accommodation | Options: hospital attendant bed (included), nearby serviced apartment, or hotel. Hospital staff can help arrange. |
| Accompanying Family — Meals | Patient meals included; attendant meals available | Hospital canteen serves vegetarian South Indian meals. Restaurants within walking distance. |
| Follow-up Consultations (post-discharge) | Phone / video available | Typically 3-6 follow-ups over 6 months. Phone or video consultations eliminate travel for most follow-ups. |
Exact costs are shared during the initial consultation. We do not publish fixed prices online because every patient's condition, grade, and protocol differs. This is not evasion — it is clinical honesty. A Grade 1 AVN patient and a Grade 3 patient need different treatment durations and intensities.
