VAS Score
Modern MedicalA VAS score, from the Visual Analogue Scale, is a simple way of measuring pain intensity. The patient marks a point on a straight line from 0, meaning no pain, to 10, meaning the worst pain imaginable, and the position gives the score. Because it takes seconds, the same scale can be repeated at each visit to track how pain changes during treatment.
