Spondyloarthritis
Modern MedicalSpondyloarthritis is a family of related inflammatory joint diseases that mainly affect the spine and the sacroiliac joints, and often other joints and the places where tendons attach to bone. It includes ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and reactive arthritis. Common features are inflammatory back pain, morning stiffness and sometimes eye or skin involvement. Many people carry the HLA-B27 gene.
