Osteoarthritis
Modern MedicalOsteoarthritis is a degenerative joint condition in which the cartilage cushioning the ends of the bones gradually wears down. This leads to pain, stiffness, swelling and reduced movement, often worse after activity or first thing in the morning. It most commonly affects the knees, hips and spine, and is diagnosed by examination and X-rays. At AVN Arogya it is assessed in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
