Hidradenitis
Modern MedicalHidradenitis, usually called hidradenitis suppurativa, is a long-term skin condition in which painful lumps form in areas where skin rubs together, such as the armpits, groin, under the breasts and buttocks. The lumps can fill with pus, burst and leave scars or tunnels under the skin. It is not caused by poor hygiene and is not contagious.
