Frozen Shoulder
Modern MedicalFrozen shoulder, also called adhesive capsulitis, is a condition in which the capsule around the shoulder joint becomes inflamed, thickened and tight, severely limiting movement. It typically passes through three stages, freezing, frozen and thawing, over one to three years. Pain is often worse at night, and reaching overhead or behind the back becomes difficult.
