Bandhanam

About Bandhanam

This structural support therapy combines the mechanical benefits of immobilization with the transdermal absorption of concentrated herbs, helping soft tissues repair quickly.

When Bandhanam may — and may not — be appropriate

May be appropriate for

  • Ligament sprains, joint subluxations, chronic joint instability, and localized fractures.

When it should NOT be done

  • Open fractures, localized gangrene, severe peripheral vascular disease, and infectious skin weeping.

The decision is always individualised by your treating physician.

What to Expect During Bandhanam

Restored structural stability, a continuous slow-release warming sensation, and reduced morning pain in the immobilized joint.
