Whether this therapy is right for you is a physician's decision
About Gandoosham
By stretching the oral mucosa to its limit, this static retention therapy strengthens facial muscles, improves salivary gland function, and thickens the protective barrier of the gums.
When Gandoosham may — and may not — be appropriate
May be appropriate for
- Loose teeth, severe dry mouth, oral ulcers, facial paralysis, and weak jaw bones.
When it should NOT be done
- Inability to control swallowing reflexes, acute vomiting, and severe respiratory blockages.
The decision is always individualised by your treating physician.
What to Expect During Gandoosham
Minor fatigue in the cheeks during the hold, followed by deep oral hydration and exceptionally fresh breath upon spitting.
