A localized purification therapy designed to restore the optimal pH balance of the vaginal microbiome and flush out localized pathogens using astringent (Kashaya) herbs.

When Yoni kshalanam may — and may not — be appropriate

May be appropriate for

  • Leukorrhea (excessive white discharge), vaginal candidiasis, postpartum healing, and pelvic inflammatory disease.

When it should NOT be done

  • Active menstruation, advanced cervical malignancies, and acute undiagnosed pelvic hemorrhages.
