About Akshi tarpanam
A premium classical therapy for the optical system. It nourishes the optic nerve, stabilizes the extraocular muscles, and reverses eye strain caused by screens.
When Akshi tarpanam may — and may not — be appropriate
May be appropriate for
- Computer vision syndrome, dry eye syndrome, macular degeneration, and refractive errors.
When it should NOT be done
- Active conjunctivitis, eye infections with pus, immediate post-eye surgery recovery, and severe lacrimation (tearing).

What to Expect During Akshi tarpanam
Mild initial blurriness (due to ghee), followed by brightened vision, lubricated eyes, and a substantial reduction in ocular burning.
