Hi, my name is Nalini. So I have come from California US to treat my cervical spondylosis here at AVN Madurai. So initially the pain was a lot of pain and I have been going to US hospitals undergoing allopathic treatment where during the pandemic it's unfortunate that everything has become contactless including including the medical facilities. So, I was given constantly phone appointments and video appointments where the doctors or therapists did not get to examine the physical part of the body which is very difficult for me to cure. The sessions that they gave me were all printed postures which did not really help. So I was looking for alternate treatment options at that point in time. So my husband has been an avid believer of the ancient Indian Ayurvedic treatment and he suggested me Alien Madurai. So I immediately sent an inquiry through the online website Prothi and Smita called me and then she scheduled a consultation with Dr. Biju. So when I was talking to Dr. Biju, I knew that I'm going to be in good hands. So he was paying a lot of attention to what I have been going through. He was not rushing at all. He has been very patiently listening. He asked more questions to clarify some of the things that I missed to mention to him which was really great. So and then he asked me like you know We don't need to rush now but when you come to India, come see me. Let's get you started here. This is not something that you don't have to undergo so we can definitely cure it for you. So then now I'm here. It's been two weeks. My stay here has been very pleasant. The treatment options are amazing. So right now my pain has gone away, I would say 95% of my pain is gone away. I feel very relaxed and regenerated. The care given has been really outstanding. It's a neat and clean facility. The staff show a lot of empathy to the patients irrespective of What the issue is, the nursing staff are amazing. They always come and check in with you before mail and after mail to remind you of the medications that you need to take. They're very friendly, they always have a smiling face and there's this quality check person that comes in every day to your room or villa and then they ask you about your feedback. And this doesn't stop with just the quality check staff, even the doctor and his team comes to your room every day for the consultation and checking with you like how you have been doing from the earlier days. So you can be very frank, I was very frank with all the pain and improvements good and bad. So accordingly the doctors adjust the treatment for the same day or the next day depending on where your treatment is and that's really helpful. I must really talk about the therapist. The therapists here are amazing. They make you feel very comfortable. The treatment rooms gives you utmost privacy. So they're really, really accommodating. It really depends on your mood. You know, if you feel like having a conversation, they are there for you. If you want to have a quiet, calm, relaxing experience, then they respect that. So everybody here at AVN Madurai are being very respectful, empathetic, loving and caring. So I'm very satisfied with the kind of treatment that I receive. And I will say one other thing, so I've also brought my mother with me as an attendant and then my mother saw the treatment that was given to me and then she underwent, she wanted to take care of her frozen shoulders. and then immediately the doctor accommodated her and then now her pain has completely gone away and her movements have gone better you know she's able to lift her shoulder not completely um the complete round but she's going to move better than before she's been taught the physiotherapy and all that um and again you know they have yoga yoga person who comes into your room and teaches you some of the stretching postures that clearly helps to alleviate your pain and to strengthen the muscles or the bone, or the nerves wherever it needs care. And also there's a physical therapist who came and helped my mom which was also very crucial part of this treatment. So I have also recommended this facility to my sister who will be flying here next month. to take care of her issue.
