Hello. I am Mrs. Srividya Illango. This is my husband, Mr. P. S. Illango. We come from Mumbai. My husband had an ischaemic stroke about six months before. After that we had been taking allopathic treatment, physiotherapy plus treatment. But because the improvement was very slow and gradual, we were searching for a good natural treatment, and two friends of ours from Madurai who had been patients of this hospital and had recovered referred us. They said there is a hospital like this called AVN, that they give Ayurvedic treatment with integrated treatment. They said Dr. Rajeev Warrier sir comes to Mumbai and that we could consult him there. So we took my husband there and showed him. Sir examined him and said, he needs some stress relief, otherwise he will be all right, and told us to take twenty-eight days of treatment as inpatients. So we came here on 24 February, and after twenty-eight days we are being discharged today. In these four weeks they have given him treatments — oil massage and nerve stimulation, putting oil on the head, and then what they call Ksheeradhara with milk, treatments of that kind for nerve stimulation and for strengthening. Along with that, they did not ask us to stop the allopathic medicine; they gave theirs in parallel. So when we came, even his walking was not remarkable to that degree; now they have said that even if we do not see it immediately, we will see it from the day after we leave. He feels very fresh now. He is well. We liked the hospital's ambience very much. In these twenty-eight days, four weeks, we actually enjoyed and appreciated the treatment, and the one-to-one staff for treatments like these. Because of the stroke they gave him some extra assistance. Physiotherapy and yoga combined; there are yoga sessions too. This integrated allopathy, Ayurveda, yoga and physiotherapy — all four as one coordinated treatment — I think itworks very well. Now when we go back to Mumbai they have said to come for a review after two months, and that before that he will be perfectly all right. So we feel, we hope, we are leaving the hospital with that hope. Along with that, I also needed treatment, because I have a varicose vein problem. Because a ligament was affected in the same leg, I consulted Dr. Sridevi Warrier ma'am in parallel for a reference. They said, since you are going to be here anyway, take a treatment in parallel. I actually feel, personally, that within two or three days of treatment I could see a good difference. There was a bloodletting, extracting the bad blood, and — when allopathic medicine had told me I needed surgery, I was not prepared for surgery. When I thought I wanted a natural treatment for myself as well, they said it could be done here. So for that too they gave a treatment like this oil massage, and along with it they taught me yoga combined with physiotherapy. They gave advice on doing that, with Ayurvedic medicines. So in that, I actually feel that I am leaving here today 85% better. My treatment was fifteen days, two weeks. Within the first seven or eight days of those two weeks I felt very happy. With the treatment, I am leaving now with 85% relief in total. I hope I will get 100% relief by the next review. Thank you.
