Transcript of the video above.

My name is Rajesh Kannan. I am from Virudhunagar district. For the last 2 years I had been suffering a great deal from back pain. At once I first began with allopathy and then homeopathy; that is the treatment I started with. When I started, they gave me treatment. As soon as the treatment was given, while taking the tablets the pain seemed to reduce. As soon as I stopped the tablets the pain increased again. Then when I went to the doctor in allopathy and asked, what they said was: you took the tablets immediately, you took them for 15 days; if you thought it would reduce in eleven days, you cannot think like that. This pain will be there as it is. If you think you must get better suddenly, then you must have an operation suddenly. Then that decision came. Next I went for homeopathic treatment. There too it gets cured for 3 months and then this pain repeats again. It kept repeating. Then our relatives had taken treatment here at AVN last year. I asked them; I said I had been here and there. They had been admitted in a very critical stage. The bone, the backbone, was very damaged, and he came in an ambulance in very great pain and was admitted here. He was admitted and took 15 days of treatment and it was cured well. All right, they suggested it. Then I consulted someone who works with me at our own office. And what they said was that for this back pain, allopathy and homeopathy and all of that will not suit. For this you should go to Ayurveda; they see to it well at AVN, they give good treatment, they said, and they suggested it. Only after that — I did not even know that AVN existed here. I did not know that there was an AVN Ayurvedic clinic at this place in Madurai. It was only when they told me that I knew. All right, last September, on 17 September, I came to see sir. Dr. Biju sir was the one who gave me treatment. Then we took scan reports and looked at the MRIscan. When we looked, the bone was worn. He suggested, if you stay here about 7 to 10 days, we will give treatment; it will be cured well. Then I waited for 1 month and took the tablets they gave. I took the Ayurvedic tablets, and there were no side effects at all. There were no side effects at all from the tablets they gave. It was good. But they gave oil too and told me to apply fomentation. I did it at home. But I did not do it the way they do it here as an inpatient. I just applied it and said we had given the fomentation. Here they did it well. And then I was admitted here on 9 October. Biju sir was the one who gave me treatment. The massage, the oil massage, was good. The therapists took good care. They gave the therapy twice daily. In that itself I was fully satisfied. The therapy was what I liked most of all. Of all the treatment they gave, the therapy was the best for me. As soon as the therapy was given, all the muscles and nerves inside, just so. When I came I came in a great deal of pain. But my back felt as though some stone weights had been placed on it; that was the weight I had. But now, after about 8 days of treatment, it is free. Now it is good; about 70% of it has been cured for me. I have only about 30% left. And then, when I went and consulted the physiotherapy sir too, they have taught me exercises. They have told me to keep taking those exercises continuously when I go home, further. They have given some instructions. I am going to follow those exercises at home from now on. I have full confidence. I have confidence that it will be cured in this way. Likewise inside, the nurses took good care. Giving tablets, and whatever help had to be done, they did all of it. It is good. And the food, per meal, was served in the room itself, and it was good. But what I found was that on one day the quantity in the morning was low for me. That alone, if itwere more, would be even better; that is the one thing I would suggest. Because I am 43 years old. 3 idlis or 3 dosais in the morning is not enough for me. I do not know how it is for others. Because for someone like me, for my age, it would be good if the quantity were increased a little. Likewise in the midday food, one vegetable and one kootu plus rice, which is plenty. But the kuzhambu alone is a little less. So if you increased that a little too, reducing the rice and giving a little more of the vegetable and that, it would be good. Next, the housekeeping — they clean everything in the morning and clean it up. The bedsheets and all, if anything has got on them, they remove it at once. And then Biju sir comes to the room daily to visit and see you. He asks how it is each day, what today's treatment has done for you, how you feel — and comes twice, in the evening or in the morning, and asks and goes. Not only that, the duty doctor comes too. They come and ask what it is and why. Next, people come from the quality department too. They came and asked how the service is and whether you have any problem. When they asked in my room a madam came. Madam, only the quantity is a little low for me. Just increase it a little, just one more idli is enough, I said, and I proposed it. She said okay, there is no problem, I will give it. They gave it; there was no problem at all. And then they have told me to keep taking the tablets for the next 45 days. Next they have told me to come back for a review after 45 days. It was good for me; the treatment was good. First I say thanks to Biju sir. Next, many thanks for the therapy. They gave the therapy well. Asking how the heat was, how it was, they made me feel it well and did it well. I express my thanks to the hospital and to all our other colleagues there.
