Transcript of the video above.

My name is Padaganayagi. My town is Vasantha Nagar. I have been in Vasantha Nagar for about one year now. While I was there, for about six or seven months from June this left arm was in constant pain. At first it began little by little at the top. Then the whole arm, the whole arm just so, had a kind of boring pain, a gripping sort of pain, going on continuously. I went to Thirunagar, Thirumangalam, to many hospitals, to allopathic hospitals. They gave me tablets and everything, they gave medicine. But whatever medicine I took, the pain simply would not stop. Now what am I to do, I said; I said it must be a sprain. Even in that, it would respond at the time and afterwards it would hurt again. While it was like this, my daughter works at New India. There she said, at our office the CRM and all of them mentioned an AVN Arogya hospital like this, an Ayurvedic hospital, and I asked whether they go there. For two or three months she kept saying she would go there and stay and have it done, and I was afraid — because of something or other I was afraid, and I had said I would not come. She was the courage, and she brought me. There is physio here too, they will see to you, she said, and brought me. I went for physio as well, alone, for 10 days, to the gate below. Going for 10 days, I went daily and had it done, and the pain seemed to reduce somewhat. If I did not go for one day the pain would increase again. When I went back and asked them, they said it would be like that. Only after that did I come to the decision, hearing my daughter again, to go to this hospital. Then, when my daughter said so, coming here, I was rather afraid. On the first day, when they gave this therapy treatment, when they rubbed on that oil and applied the fomentation — in all, today it has been 14 days. In 14 days they have done this therapy for me 28 times. I did not miss a single time. I wentevery time. They would ask about my body — how is it, do you feel faint, does your head hurt, they would ask all of that. Nothing at all like that happened to me. Secondly, this pouring of medicine in the nose, the Nasyam — they did that 7 times. Even when they did it 7 times, nothing at all; they would ask how it is, whether there is a headache. Nothing like that at all, no problem at all. However much was done, my body took it. And that arm pain reduced little by little, little by little, and now it is quite clear; before, I could not even hold my arm like this. It would keep tightening and tightening. Now I do not have that tightness at all. Only when I move the arm does that shoulder hurt. For that they have given tablets and medicine for another month. They have said that if we go and follow their treatment as they say, the arm will become as it was before. It was Sridevi ma'am who saw me. I saw her in the outpatient department. She has been seeing me right up to today. Those who came with her — a young man doctor and then a madam doctor, both of them looked after me well. Both of them said, ask me at any hour, I will see to it, and they saw to it and did it; both of them looked after me well. In 2009, when I had an accident, I went to an allopathic hospital. Because I never at all like injections, tablets, hospitals, anything. Being like that, when an accident suddenly happened and they put me in a hospital, they told me to be in bed for a week and I could not manage it. I stayed about two or three days and said I would not stay, and I signed myself out and came away. From then on hospitals have been an allergy to me, and even my children reckoned with it — mother cannot bear a hospital; I am taking her to this hospital, how will it be? But as soon as I came here — going today is rather a feeling. I go walking daily, and seeing the trees all round and all ofthat, it does not look like a hospital at all; there is not that hospital smell, which is a thing in itself. Secondly, in this condition, we can even go from one bed to another and see someone and talk; if there is a child I will talk with them. I go to all those departments and talk, so there is no restriction here. Likewise visitors can come; now my husband comes daily and sees me and goes. In this condition there is no problem in the room either. The room feels just like being at home; there is a TV and everything. Because it felt like being at home I was able to stay 14 days. Anywhere else, ordinarily, I could not manage; in two days I would have gone off. That sort of thing has happened before; I never at all liked it in allopathy, I never liked that bed. Because I came here I have no feeling of being in a bed or of being in a hospital. A feeling of being at home. Only the time of going for the treatment, 1 hour, 1 hour. So going there for that treatment, I had no trouble. But from them I had no problem at all. They did it well. Today I am being discharged. Today I go home. I am well. The pain I had in my arm is gone. Otherwise, for six months, because of that pain I could not sleep peacefully and could not be happy at all. Having been with that pain, today I do not have that pain. For the little pain that remains, they had given medicine for a month to take home, and I believe it will come right for me with that.
