My name is Nivetha Mahesh. I come from Chennai. I first came here a year back. At that time I actually had a lower back fracture — L4, L5 and S1. I had already taken every treatment in allopathy for around ten months. They had told me it was only surgery now. But after that my neighbour recommended it. She said there is something like this, we can try Ayurveda. So after that I came. When I first came, Dr. Rajeev sir treated me. I stayed about 15 days at that time. There was good relief. Before that I could not sit continuously for even half an hour, could not stand, could not walk. For around two years I did not travel at all. That is how bad my back damage was. But after that I took the fifteen days of treatment and went back, and they told me to rest properly for about forty-five days. Gradually I began doing small tasks. Now I have even begun to bend. I bend, I do every kind of work. But after those six months they told me to come for what they called a strengthening massage. So now I have come for strengthening. The neck and everything else will get better still. Now they have even told me I can cycle. They said cycle, go walking, you can do it all. But they have said to start gradually again over a month. So most likely next year my wish is to travel all over the world. This has resolved. As for the therapy, when I first came they gave oil massage, Abhyangam and things of that sort. After that, strengthening, and they gave it with milk. This time everything is totally different. There is none of the massage they gave last time. They also did something for weight reduction, because body weight brings on muscle pain. Some powder massage. Then there is what they call Vasti, enemas — they have types of enemas here. They give all of that and carry out the treatment. Then, speaking of their service, the nurses, the housekeeping department and the doctors are allexcellent. In all this time nobody here has raised their voice or shouted at anyone. Everyone is very polite and gentle. Excellent maintenance throughout. I do not even know whether a corporate hospital like Apollo would be like this. So they are very good. Everything here is excellent. Not only that — they are very caring. Even if we go out somewhere they follow up on whether we have got back. If they have sent a driver, it is, ma'am, have you arrived, have you got back — that total caring is there.
