My name is Pankaj Srivastava and I have come here from Delhi. My connection with AVN Arogya Ayurveda Hospital began about ten years ago, when I was posted in Mumbai and I developed a tenosinovitis in my thumb. A good many doctors tried to treat it but it was not getting better. Then a friend of ours in Mumbai told me to go and see Dr. Warrier. That is how I came into contact with Dr. Rajeev Warrier, and within fifteen days, by giving me some medicines, he set the pain in my hand and thumb completely right. Now, ten years later, when I am in Delhi these days, some months ago a lot of pain started in my left shoulder and I think some kind of injury had occurred. So I showed it to orthopaedic doctors there, had an X-ray taken and an MRI done, and it turned out that I had not one but two or three things at once — frozen shoulder and tendinitis and bursitis. So the doctors prescribed that I should have physiotherapy and, if needed, a corticosteroid injection as well. But it occurred to me — why not speak to Rajeev Warrier? So I phoned him and he said, just come straight to Madurai. And so my wife Seema Srivastava and I both reached Madurai and were admitted here at Dr. Rajeev Warrier's hospital. My treatment has been going on for the past six or seven days, in which most of his attention has been on cleansing the body. They are detoxifying the body, and various massages have been done, treatments given, physiotherapy done. And within six days the pain in my hand and shoulder has become very much better. I do hope we might stay a few more days here, but for some reason I have to go. But I am going in the happiness that the pain in my left shoulder has all but disappeared. I would make one request of everyone: as long as we are healthy we do not think about how much attention we ought to pay to our health. It is only when a problem arises that we look here and there for away to put it right. So my one lesson to everyone is, as long as we are healthy, pay attention to your body as well. Pay attention to your health so that things do not reach the point where you have to be admitted to some hospital for a long time. Thank you. Let me tell you a little more about the kind of treatment being done here. This place is very serene, quiet and very fine. Here, a patient gets half better simply on arriving, just from seeing the place, because although its name is a hospital it is not like a hospital; in a way it is a holiday home. Everyone here takes such great care of us. And the special thing is that everyone is so cheerful. Whatever you say, they answer smiling. The biggest problem is language, but we did not find that a problem at all, because we could communicate with people quite easily. And the doctors here are themselves of such a simple nature that in a way you cannot tell you are talking to a doctor, because they come and talk to you like a friend, they explain things to you, and the treatment is done in a very good way. The rooms here, the villas, are all modern. I am staying in a classic villa, which is a one-bedroom accommodation with an attached sitting room, and it is complete in every way. You need nothing at all. And whatever you need you get here at once. There is an attached restaurant alongside. Food is available at all hours for the attendant. And there is a cafeteria. And there is a pharmacy as well where all the medicines are available. So I am very happy to have come here, and the best thing is that my pain has gone. Thank you.
