Hello, my name is Kasthurirangan. I have come here from Kumbakonam. For about a year I had pain in the neck, pain in the hip and pain everywhere below the knee — very bad pain. I went to many places including Chennai and showed it to many doctors. All of them said that in allopathic medicine there was no treatment for this other than an operation. I have no wish to have an operation. So while I was searching on the net this word AVN came to me. As soon as I saw the word AVN, I remembered that an old friend had told me — Varier. The hospital is in Madurai. If you go there they will give this Ayurvedic treatment. If you like, go and consult them — I remembered an old friend saying that about six months earlier. To verify it, one day I came from Kumbakonam to Madurai and met Dr. Srimathi Sridevi here. She is the senior doctor. She examined all my complaints thoroughly for about three-quarters of an hour and asked in detail about my pain and all of it. I showed her all the tablets I had taken before, and the X-rays and everything connected with them. She looked at it and said this can be healed. If you come and stay here from about ten days to twelve days and have the treatment, this can be healed, she said. So I said all right and went back home, and within a week made all the arrangements to come and stay here, and I came and stayed. The doctor checked me again and gave me Ayurvedic treatment in the morning and in the evening. It is entirely oil treatment. It is Ayurvedic medicine in this. No English medicine at all was added to it. With this treatment my neck pain has now healed completely. The hip pain has healed to a considerable extent. The doctor has now advised me that if I go home and watch it for another 10 or 15 days it will heal completely. The knee pain and the leg pains have all healed entirely. I can walk well now. Instead of dragging my leg along asbefore, unable to walk, I can now walk straight. The doctor here, the other nurses, the office staff, the young men who do this Ayurveda, all of them young men, are brisk and do what we need well and are very helpful. To everyone.
