Greetings, my name is Dhanalakshmi. I come from Viluppuram. My present problem is that a great pain came in the bone of my right elbow. To such an extent that I could not do the smallest task; I could not even pick up a spoon. I had already come to AVN Hospital in 2012 for a leg problem. I got a complete treatment for that. It went well for me. After that there was no need for me to come. Thanks to Dr. Sridevi. Now, when this problem came to me again, I thought, why should I not try the Ayurvedic hospital? So I came here again. When I came here it was Dr. Sridevi who attended to me again. On the basis of what she said, a situation arose where I had to stay here. But when I told her that I could not stay for very long, she said, all right. In this short period in which I am staying, the full service I have had, whether the medical service, or the therapy they give, or the attending doctors — one thing I should say here: everybody, right from the doctor to the janitor to the nurse to the therapist, everybody gives a very personal touch to the patient. It psychologically pacifies us; it calms us mentally a great deal, and that in itself seems to me a very good thing. The second thing is this setting all around here; this setting, and particularly to be mentioned, the Ayyappan temple — that gave me a very pleasant setting. Here, if you speak of the nurses, the way they give the medicine when they give it, and the way they behave when they come to give it. Next the therapists — the therapists come with great concern and in a good way, with good practice, and the treatment they give us. Next, apart from the technical side, I must mention the name of the young man who cleans and helps us keep our rooms clean and in order. Ramar — that young man comes every day and does it with a smiling face. That satisfies us very much. Why do I mention this particularly? Generally everyonespeaks only of the medical side. But I mention even the housekeeping, to say that this AVN Hospital takes such care even over these small things. And then for the treatment, they do not go straight into treatment as soon as you arrive, as happens in English medicine. They prepare us. That is, before that they prepare us for the treatment of whatever problem or illness we came for. Before that they clean our body. They clean our internal organs. That is, the respiratory system, the digestive system, the excretory system. They first cleanse all these systems, and only after that do they begin the treatment. That seems to me a good thing. Because, rather than starting a thing straight away, when they prepare us for it, the body comes to a state of being able to receive that treatment. While this sort of treatment is going on on one side, next they give food suited to it. Suited to that — now I have diabetes, and in that case they took the test for it and gave the food needed for it. For example, bitter gourd kootu; a thing particularly to be mentioned in that is that they served a bowl of bitter gourd in such a way that it could be eaten without bitterness. They made me, who does not like bitter gourd, eat it, and for that a very big thank you. For this I must thank the cooks who cooked it. And back to the therapy — those who gave me this therapy were Sangeetha, Kasthuri, and then Annathai Sathya; every one of them. Among them, apart from one or two, all the rest are young people. But beyond their being young, the treatment they give — they are so matured that the treatment given by them is so nice. That is, if you have oil on you and you say, I cannot turn, my hand is slipping, at once they speak with a concern: it is nothing, mother, stay there, mother, hold my hand, mother. That gives us a good strength. Without fear. It dispelled my fear; the therapy at this AVNHospital dispelled my fear. Next, those who give the food: Sobhinda and Aishwarya — I am obliged to thank them. Next, for taking my blood test, a very big thank you to Madhavi, the lab technician. And then the staff nurse who came at each time and made me take the tablets, brought the water, brought the herbal water for it, took it and put it in my hand. Personally — do it, mother; drink, mother; mother, have you had your bath, and then have you taken the tablets, mother? Have you taken the English tablet? Have you taken the tablet I gave? — asked with concern, Bhadrakali. Many, many thanks to Aishwarya, plus the duty doctors. I must mention the duty doctors, Nimisha, and another whose name — a gentleman came as well. The duty doctors, the way they speak and the way they behave, with such affection — tell us whatever problem you have, we will see to it — the courage they give. That strength is very dear to our hearts. I use the phrase again: it is very satisfying to the heart. Above all, Dr. Sridevi. Her bright face, the way she speaks with her smile. The way she speaks to us as if it were no problem at all, giving us strength — looking at all of this, I love AVN Hospital. About the duty doctors I must certainly say it: Nimisha, Jiji, Sumu. All three of them, in their duty time, do not simply come as a doctor and ask and go, but make small conversation. In English they call it small talk. They could finish it in about two minutes like that. But instead of doing that they take another five minutes. Asking what it is, with a smile, and doing that — again and again I say the same thing, psychologically I was so much relieved. So that gave me great happiness. Particularly to be mentioned, once I do not know whether the way I took the tablets was wrong. Because of that I kept feeling nauseous. When I mentioned it, the duty doctor said — he came in the evening and saw meand asked with great concern what was happening. He was so attentive. Having asked like that, then what he did was he told me to drink hot water. As soon as I drank hot water as he said, it became very good. Plus, at that time, in my leg problem I had a bandage on one leg. That bandage had come undone, and saying the knot had gone, he attended to it and put right the knot and the bandage on my leg before going. The next day he came very attentively and asked again. How is it now? How is that compression? How is this nausea? — he asked and went. Thanks to Dr. Nimisha, Dr. Jiji, Dr. Soni. And then, importantly, another thing: all these are people who are visible — Dr. Sridevi, the therapists, the nurses, the canteen and then the duty doctors; all of them are visible. But like the Saraswati river that flows unseen at the Triveni Sangamam, there is an administration side. Because they do not come into touch with the patients to that extent. Once a day, or at most twice — even that is a lot. There is no occasion for them to come like the other technical persons. Even so, one Sai Keerthika from the administration side has a very bright face and a gentle way of speaking. Whatever you say she asks with a smile, is that so — that is her nature. Looking at all this, AVN is perfect in all aspects. 5 stars to AVN.
