Hi everyone, my name is Divya. I come from here in Madurai. I have known about this AVN Hospital for nearly 5 to 6 years. It was my father's friend who referred us and we came here. Initially there was a lot of confusion about how Ayurvedic treatment would be, whether it would come right, and what it was. Actually the problem I had was cervical spondylosis. And in the shoulder, in the right shoulder, there was a ligament tear. With the cervical spondylosis, as soon as I got up in the morning I would have a terrible stiffness, the pain would be aggravating, and I could not travel. I could only travel with a belt on properly. And coming to the frozen shoulder, I could not lift the shoulder. I could not do much work. I could not lift any heavy weight. I had all these issues. I first went for allopathic treatment. For the cervical problem they advised a collar. They gave a set of painkillers for about 3 or 4 months. Having taken those painkillers, if you take painkillers the pain reduces. If not, that pain is consistent. Coming to the frozen shoulder, with the ligament injury, they told me not to lift my arm above the shoulder, and that otherwise surgery had to be done — that was the only condition for me. Through a referral, again I came to know about Dr. Biju sir; my father's friend had told us. So I first consulted Biju sir. I brought all the MRI reports taken previously and showed them to sir. Sir advised about 10 to 20 days of treatment. Next we will try, sir said. Again, 12 days of treatment. Today is the 12th day and I have completed it today. Really so far there is a good improvement for me. In the morning there is no great stiffness, and the shoulder feels as though it moves very freely. Even to put on my dress I used to have to bend down and manage it. Now I can definitely say that all those issues have settled really well for me, over 80 to 90%. So to all ofyou, I strongly recommend that you can come to Ayurvedic treatment with trust. So without any type of injections or other outside medicines, purely by nature, they are doing it well. If you look at the treatment given to me, it was completely oil massage treatment. And then, with certain medicines and herbs, herbal things, they gave fomentation. So 2 sessions of treatment. There was one treatment in the morning and one treatment in the evening. In the morning they did a complete oil massage. So even the therapists will ask us and find out what your issue is. But the therapists, when they do that massage, take exactly those particular pain points and pressure points and concentrate particularly on them and do the oil well and relieve those pressure points. All of it was very good; they checked the heat, the heat bearing, and did it and gave it correctly. Coming to the hospitality, the staff are doing an excellent job. Every day, morning and night, before food, after food — have you taken the medicines correctly? If not, they particularly bring them and give them and tell you to take them, and then they go. This hospitality team is doing an excellent job. Of course the housekeeping team have done it very well. Overall the maintenance and ambience — we do not feel it as a hospital stay at all. It is as though we have gone on some tour; that is the sort of atmosphere, that sort of ambience there is here. Overall it is superb. Biju sir is always doing an excellent job here. Whether it is caring for the patient, or explaining to the patient what treatment we are going to do and what it is. He is doing everything excellently. So I strongly advocate it. Whatever the treatment, you can freely take it all safely. You can take it safely, without undergoing any allopathic thing. Without any gastritis problem or any of those side effects, you can come and do it properly.
