My name is Dhishore Raju. I have come from Surya Nagar, Madurai. What happened is that from about the month of April I had this low back pain and the pain began to spread somewhat into my legs. My very walk changed. That is, it became as though I was lifting it. My left leg became such that I walked lifting it. When I went to other hospitals they said it had to be done by operation. When we enquired of our relatives and friends, they said there is a hospital like this on the Tirupparankundram side, AVN. If you go to that hospital and are seen, they will give this oil massage and fomentation and this sort of thing and will put it right as far as possible. We asked our neighbour and came here. Because of this Covid time, they mostly attend to patients here, outpatients, only by appointment. Through the Aarogya Setu app they checked whether our area, the area we were coming from, was safe or not, and asked us to send the bar codes and so on. After that, here too they follow some safety measures, they use sanitiser, and they allow only the patients who have been given appointments. I took an appointment with the one called Dr. Biju. Before I came, if my pain was 100%, now it has been resolved by about 90 to 95 for me. Treatment can be taken here. It is mostly oil massage and that sort of thing. For the treatment the nurses and the other staff behave rather kindly towards us; all of them, and the therapist too, speak to us in a nice friendly way. In the therapy room they do something like an oil massage; mostly oil massage, and after that the treatment one person gives. Oil bath, steam bath — treatments like all of this go on. Now it has been cured reasonably fully for me. They have given medicines. And after that they have told me some exercises, and the procedures, how these must be done, how the exercises must be done regularly, exercises of that sort. Now my activitiesare reasonably as they were before. I am doing like this now, I am normal now. Thanks to AVN.
