A condition where one vertebra in the spine slips forward over the one below it, narrowing the nerve exit pathway. It can compress spinal nerves, causing back pain and leg symptoms similar to sciatica.

conditionSpondylolisthesis is a condition in which one vertebra slips forward over the one below it, most often in the lower back. The slip can narrow the space where nerves leave the spine and compress them. People may notice low back pain, tight hamstrings and leg pain or tingling similar to sciatica. It is graded by the amount of slip seen on X-ray.
