Whether this therapy is right for you is a physician's decision
About Navaratheppu
A modification of the traditional Navarakizhi bolus massage. This open application method emphasizes skin absorption and gentle tissue building, making it perfect for frail patients who cannot tolerate bolus pressure.
When Navaratheppu may — and may not — be appropriate
May be appropriate for
- Muscular dystrophy, emaciation, dry skin, post-stroke recovery, and nervous exhaustion.
When it should NOT be done
- Acute fever, severe obesity, heavy Kapha lung congestion, and infectious skin conditions.
The decision is always individualised by your treating physician.
What to Expect During Navaratheppu
A warm, creamy, highly comforting body wrap experience, leaving the skin soft and muscles feeling firm and nourished.
