When Manjal kizhi may — and may not — be appropriate
May be appropriate for
- Post-traumatic sports injuries, localized edema, chronic soft tissue inflammation, and skin conditions requiring purification.
When it should NOT be done
- High fever, known hypersensitivity or allergies to turmeric, active bleeding disorders, and acute skin ulcers.
