I come from Salem district. As for how I came to know of this hospital, it was through the YouTube channel. I had a very, very bad problem, a problem called spondylitis. All right, we had tried a lot of allopathic treatment. We took that allopathic treatment for about 7 months, up to 7 months. With that treatment it did not get cured much and step by step it only kept increasing. All right, while it kept increasing, when we asked what to do next, we came to know about AVN through social media. All right, since we learned that they give good treatment like this, we said let us approach them and see; and we had looked in a lot of places. We saw a lot of Siddha hospitals and allopathy here and there in every place. But I was not that satisfied. It kept increasing for me day by day. Then next, as a final hope, I came here to AVN. Having heard about AVN, all right, okay, we watched a lot of videos on the YouTube channel. How they do this, what they do for this kind of diagnosis — we came to know all of that. All right, as my final hope, when I came here, they told me to stay about 14 days. When I stayed 14 days — all right, when we came here for Covid it was January 2021. At that time there were Covid cases. All right, we must check what the Covid arrangements are like before going, we said, and their structure with those Covid arrangements was really good. First they took a Covid test and everything, and only if there were no symptoms of any kind from Covid would they give admission here at the hospital. For admission, okay, there were no Covid symptoms like that and the Covid test came back negative, so all right, they admitted me. When you come here, as a precaution so that Covid does not come inside again, they give us kabasura kudineer and that sort of thing. They do all of that well through decoctions. The Covid-related structure they have put in place is all good.When we had already been watching the YouTube channel and looking at cases like this, they would say Sridevi ma'am and the doctors' names. We heard them pronounce them. All right, let us approach Sridevi ma'am directly, we said, and asked. Sridevi ma'am — when we first took an appointment there, she gave a free consultation. In the free consultation she took my full profile. She took it online and she grouped it. Having grouped it, she said the treatment would be like this. It can all be seen to. This is only a mild stage; it can be arrested right now, there is no problem, she said. Even now, if you look at the treatment, Sridevi ma'am — even if I said, no, this is not coming right for me, they would change the treatment. Changing it, they would think about how it could be done somehow. The way she gave her treatment and the way she spoke professionally I liked very much. And then, as far as the treatment goes, if you look at the fundamentals of the numbers — at the start, in August 2020, on the left side, in the ball and socket joint and the SI joint, the pain started. The pain started, and if you look at my work, it was working night shifts, like that. It meant sitting in front of a system for about 9 or 10 hours. All right, as soon as they gave work from home in the night shift — because we could not go out at all while working from home regularly on night shifts, so without much movement, in about two months I had begun to work well at it. And then, if you look, at the start a pain was created in the SI joint and in the joint on my left side. All right, it will just be an ordinary sprain, I said, and thinking I could have some allopathic medicine or an injection or something, I tried it and nothing responded. Then it kept on for about one month. Otherwise, we tried the things they do in our home town for this sort of pain, applying oil and doing something, allthat sort of thing. That did not respond either. Finally we went to a big private hospital. We went to that hospital and next were taking treatment. At that time, if you look, they did a diagnosis and took blood tests and everything, and my WBC count and that, and then the ESR and CRP levels, were all high. When they were high, all right, they said, this is very much so; you must take steroid injections regularly, and so on, they said a lot of things. All right, for now, since this is the start, let us try to cure it with these tablets alone; we can prevent it fully, they said. All right, I kept taking those tablets, regularly, with follow-up. But if you look, in about 3 months my ankle began to swell. There was swelling inside here too; there was swelling in all the joints on the left side of the body, the SI joint and the pelvic bone. But that swelling was not visible to others from outside, while my pain, if you look, was like labour pain — that severe. I could not get down and get up quickly, could not do that sort of thing quickly. What it was, was that last June or July I was well, and now in about 3 months it had become like this — it was very worrying. Then those 3 months did not respond, and then again another doctor; I consulted a specialist, an orthopaedic. He too saw me and then they gave medicines and did all of this, all right, and that did not respond either. And as soon as that responded — while I was taking that, the knee suddenly, the right knee, had a lot of swelling. All right, what shall we do about all this, we said, and we had already heard about AVN and had taken an appointment. As a final group, let us come here next, we said, and came. And then their treatment — for the first two days, when I looked, sir, it kept going and there was no improvement for me. And then afterwards, as it went on, they said that the impact of the treatment onlybegins to show as the days increase. Likewise, when I was first admitted we stayed about 19 days. At that time, day by day, after about 3 or 4 days, day by day the improvements began to show well for me. When the improvements began to show — all right, then I got good hope. As soon as I got hope, all right, taking treatment we will get a satisfying solution, I had good hope. All right, over these 19 days they got me to the point of walking reasonably well and doing things reasonably. As for the treatment, one time in the morning and one time in the evening, the treatment was oil massage, giving fomentation with this sort of herbal oil, entirely herbal medicine. If you look at the medicines, they are entirely Ayurvedic medicines, because if you look at their products, they are all AVN's own products, and their formulations for it. It was really good. AVN prepares their products themselves; their way is different, they use different formulas. On that basis, these medicines, the medicines taken internally, worked out well too. And then next, by the time it was 90 days they had got me reasonably well. All right, what they said was, come like this for a next follow-up, keep taking medicine regularly, do the exercises, they said. And then after about 3 days, being admitted for about 3 to 4 days, it would mean taking that treatment again. There is no need to be very afraid of the treatment we take. If you look at the treatment, they give a good massage, apply massage oil, all the applications, and do that. Giving fomentation with herbs — it is like that; with good treatment it will be really good. And then after 3 months I got a further reasonable betterment and improvement. All right, another 60% came to me; for the remaining 40% or so, all right, we are going to set it right well, they said, and I was admitted again for 3 days. Now I have done this. Now the impact of whatI have taken — this last, next, within this month, the treatment I took for these five or six days, its improvement will begin to show for me within the next month. And then — now, in the last blood test, if you look, the ESR and CRP levels had become very high. CRP and all at 65, ESR 65, CRP 29. It had gone to that extent. And then finally, now, when I took a blood test this time, my CRP level is 1.4 and the ESR 14; everything has come under control. And then everything is reasonably under control. Next, my effort is to do the exercises, follow the medicines and do this. Even with the medicines to be followed, if you look, once the remaining pain is 100% relieved, next they have said that all the medicines too can be given up. And there was no problem at all, no side effects at all from taking this medicine. Good.
