My name is Narayanan. My age is 80. I have come to this hospital for treatment from Alagappa Nagar, Madurai. I have been diabetic for nearly 23 years. Not only diabetic — diabetic cardiology problem, kidney problem, and then prostate problem; I have every problem. I had been to all the doctors and taken every treatment. What has happened now, with all the treatment I had been taking, is that below the knee the nerves have no blood circulation and have gone numb, and I cannot walk. This has been going on for the past four years. As for that, all the doctors diagnosed it and said neuropathy. For that they gave allopathic treatment and tablets and everything. I was seen in allopathy, I was seen in Siddha. And then acupuncture, acupressure, whatever there is, I took every treatment. It did not respond to any treatment. Then my friends all said, why should you not try this? There is the AVN Arogya Ayurvedic Centre at Vilachery; you could try that. Everyone who has tried it says it is good. So go and see it, all my friends said. After they said that, on 6-11-2020 I saw Dr. Sridevi Rajeev madam for the first time. I told her my full and complete history, right down to what tablets I am taking at present. She understood everything. I liked it. What she did was to say, if you stay two to three weeks and have treatment we can get you walking to a reasonable extent. And after that, if you take the tablets and medicines regularly, in about six months it will heal to the point where you can walk well inside the house. But you need not worry, she said. So on her advice I came to this hospital for admission on 3-12-2020. On the very day of admission they gave me the Ayurvedic treatment in the evening, at 6 o'clock morning and evening. After that, regularly until today, once in the morning and once in the afternoon or evening, oil treatment, and then a treatment with milk. And then,mixing the herbal decoction with the milk, they did that treatment on the body; they did every treatment. Regularly, morning and evening, whenever needed, the junior doctors came and saw me. They advised me from time to time. The senior doctor, Mrs. Rajeev, Sridevi Rajeev madam, came daily and saw me, and even more than her treatment it was her kindness that I liked very much. Without pulling a face in the least. Answering all the questions we ask, advising us — be like this and this, take the treatment and the tablets and medicines like this and this, and you will heal well. Not only that: the nursing staff, the staff who give the treatment, all the rest, nobody at all — there is no question of pulling a face; without the slightest anger, and I even asked them. I said some of the catering food did not suit me. For that they even changed the catering for me, and the catering comes at each appointed time; the time never changes at all. Whether the food, or the treatment, or the doctor's visit, everything ran systematically according to the time. Now, even this morning, Dr. Sridevi Rajeev came and saw everything and advised and told me everything. With tomorrow my three weeks are over. Because until today 80 to 85% has been well cured. To a reasonable extent I can walk as they said. It will reduce further; for me to walk freely they have given a lot of tablets and oil. If I take that oil and those tablets and all of it, they have said it will heal well in another month. Taking everything according to their advice, I am being discharged tomorrow and going. Besides that they gave physiotherapy too. The physiotherapy too, and the doctors there and all the staff there — kindness is the main thing. Whatever a doctor needs at a hospital is one hundred per cent available at this hospital. Just as my friends said, exactly as they told me, that much has healed for me. Only aboutanother twenty per cent is left. Because of circumstances I cannot stay beyond that, so I am taking all the tablets and medicines and going. After one month I will come back and be seen. When I come then, I have confidence that it will have healed to the point where I can walk freely without a stick. This is the best treatment I have ever seen in the past 23 or 25 years. So — precaution for Corona is also very good in this hospital.
