What happened
Mr. Nagalingam, 73, from Karaikudi, developed Parkinsonism-like symptoms alongside hydrocephalus. He first consulted a neurosurgeon in Bangalore but saw little improvement. He then came to AVN Arogya, Madurai, taking OPD medicines for about two months before being admitted for roughly 14 days. Treatment included classical Ayurvedic therapies such as oil massage, powder massage and nasal therapy (nasya). He reports partial improvement: reduced neurological symptoms, better walking ability and less difficulty writing by hand.
