In 2009 I had a bike accident. It was a severe accident. We had it seen in Coimbatore, at an orthopaedic hospital, and they treated me. After the treatment it was good for about five years. Then the pain began to come back. I went to the same hospital again and had it checked to see what it was. They said there was no problem. Within that one year the pain began to come severely again. When I went and asked again, they said they would only know if the implant was removed and an MRI taken. So I had it taken, and they said there was erosion of the bone and that it would only come right if I had an operation. I agreed, and I had that operation, a core decompression graft. At the time they told me it would only hold for about five years and that it would come to a replacement again. I thought, all right, five years is good, and I accepted that operation. Afterwards the pain began to come back again. I could not do my regular work at all. Then I searched on the internet. I looked for whether this could be treated with anything in Ayurveda. I found that there was. So, searching for AVN, I came to the AVN hospital in Madurai. I saw Dr. Rajeev sir. As soon as he saw it he said that for this we can certainly treat it. I agreed and took the treatment accordingly. And now — but it will take about six months before it recovers. They said something like avascular necrosis cannot be done quickly. I agreed, and it has been 21 days now. I can feel it improving little by little myself. I have gained the confidence that I will certainly recover within six months.
