I am Mohan from Madurai. I am residing nearby, at Anuppanadi, Madurai. Actually I have a disc prolapse in the spinal cord. I have had this problem since 1994 or 1996. In 1996 I had an operation. After the operation there was a large improvement for about four years. After that, no. After that I carried on continuously with that problem. My friend's wife came here to take treatment. She told us about this hospital, that it was good like this. On that basis I consulted the doctor here on 19 September. They said there was no room. Then on the 29th they said a room was available. On the 30th I was admitted. Truly, a hospital in a natural setting like this is genuinely praiseworthy. They keep it neat and clean daily. If you look at the doctors, they do it with a parental care. The nurses give good service too. Massage is given twice daily, morning and evening. On both occasions their treatment is genuinely praiseworthy. Because of that I had a good improvement. Actually the doctor said fourteen days. Even though they said fourteen days, within about eight, nine or ten days I had a good improvement and the pain was relieved. Ordinarily, this morning, the treatment was such that I could go walking about a kilometre, walking without pain. It is genuinely praiseworthy. For that, the therapists, the young men who do the massage, the nurses and the doctors — one must call it parental care. That is how much they did. Even in the treatment, in the therapy treatment, they would do the oil massage, and next they gave what they called a powder massage. After that the oil massage. After that hot oil, and they would do this and that. At that point your face runs with sweat. You do not know what it is doing, and you simply sweat. Then the young men immediately take a towel and wipe your face. And in the tub, when hot water is used in the tub, the way they attend to you is a verydifferent experience, and praiseworthy. My experience is that if I had known of this earlier I might have been spared twenty years of this difficulty. Otherwise the care and cleanliness of everyone is genuinely praiseworthy — daily changing the sheets, cleaning and everything else is done excellently. Even I wondered how it would be to stay alone for fifteen days, and my family wondered too. But it was not like that at all — again, one must call it parental care. Everyone here is in the atmosphere of a home. The food had a little less salt. Naturally we have to accept that. It was like a restricted diet. And because we eat that food there is no trouble at all with the stomach. We must appreciate that too. Otherwise it was excellent. Really I thank AVN Hospital for being a hospital in this area. I ask that others too should come here and that those with a long, prolonged illness should benefit properly. Thank you.
