Malavan

Greetings to everyone. In this video — in English they say prevention is better than cure. In Tamil they say let us guard before it comes. So I start with that. My name is Malavan, my age is 51, native Madurai. All my work was abroad; I worked abroad for 16 to 20 years. Entirely stressful work, plus a lot of travelling daily; in the morning 1.5 hours of traffic, in the evening 1.5 hours of traffic, self-driving, so for 16 or 20 years driving like this again and again. Without our realising it, back pain, lower back pain, neck pain, muscle stiffness, leg pain, and even the nerves in the arm becoming weak as though they would not let go of the leg. Even so I was thinking of doing something, of doing it now and regenerating, so that we would be well for the next 5 years. And after that, if you look — I was looking on the net at where to go, and my friends recommended going to Kerala. Then, if Kerala, when I checked with Kottakkal Ayurveda sir, they were fully busy. It was then that friends said, you are going round here and there — there is a big institute right here in Madurai and you will not go there. That was when I came to know of it: look here, AVN Arogya, they said, and then I came here once and looked. My facilities were good. Then, for an appointment, when I contacted Dr. Mr. Sakthi and spoke, they fixed the dates and gave them. Having done that, I came here and saw Dr. Sridevi madam and told her all my initial problems. As soon as I said it, they recommended a two weeks' treatment. With the two weeks' treatment, it is two weeks since I joined. But when I joined, truly my neck and all of it were very weak. Because of this nerve problem it was very weak. The backbone — if I had stayed a little longer, that L4 L5 problem would certainly have come. My problem was in the low back pain. That would have aggravated. Likewise the legs — I was not able to walk properly.That is, I could not walk with strength. Now I can go for a brisk walk for 1 hour. So there was a situation like that. Now, after I came and stayed here, the doctors visit daily. They are monitoring the progress. According to how far the progress has gone, they adjust the treatment there accordingly. This oil, Thailadhara, was truly very beneficial; it was very good. That, doing the hot air well on the body and doing this, is a good treatment for the nerves. Likewise it was good on the arm, somewhat relaxing, stress-relieving. Likewise for the back pain they give this Kadi Vasti, and that is good too. Completely, that back, the elbow, wrist, are nicely relieved. So beyond this we have to maintain ourselves; beyond that we must see how to do it. So basically, if you go to the hospital, the infrastructure is very nice. It is good. Good ambience. The food is good quality food. The staff are all very kind. The doctors come morning and evening and update, they interact with us, and they ask what further issues there are and give the remedies for them. There are yoga centres inside, there is yoga teaching, plus there are gyms for working out. They have facilities to that extent. So when I look around here — my age is now 50. When I look inside here, many people of my age are coming in at the first stage — that is, not like this with the arm; I mean they have come in an aggravated situation. So we should be aware, so that we do not go to a situation like this. Taking a treatment like this as a prevention is good for everyone. It is a very good hospital. I would surely recommend to everyone to go to this hospital. Even now, many people — because I came, my friends and my relatives are all ready to come next. So the hospital is really good.
