Hello. My name is Lokesh. I come from Chennai. As for how I came to know of this AVN Hospital — I was searching in Chennai about this hip joint. Actually my problem is AVN of the hip joint, what they call avascular necrosis. What it is, is that my hip joint bone had become somewhat affected. On this matter I had been trying English medicines. But they told me it would have to be surgery. Because I had no wish to go for surgery, I was searching on the internet for whether there was any other solution for this. It was through that that I came to know of AVN. AVN has a hospital in Chennai, an inpatient hospital. So I went there and consulted, and the doctor there referred me. He said I should take 21 days of treatment in Madurai, and that it would improve somewhat — but they said it without much confidence. What I saw when I came here, first of all, was: all right, not a bad hospital. Because on the first visit you cannot know everything. So on day one there was not much hope here. What are they even doing — there is no injection, they did not touch us or do anything. So I thought nothing much was going to come of it and that this pain of mine would stay as it was. But on day one they started the treatment; first they gave something like a fomentation and began a treatment. They poured something like hot water and started the treatment. They poured what was like hot water all over the body and began. There was no great impact for me. I had no hope even then. Then I told the doctor, sir, like this, the pain is only increasing again. The doctor said, look again after three days, tell me how your pain is, and give me your feedback then. So I said, all right, the doctor is saying so, let us listen — and after three days, with the same therapies going on, after three days there was some improvement. As for the scale: before treatment, if I were to give a scale ratio, my painratio was about an 8, let us say. After treatment, after three days, my pain scale ratio had changed to a 5. So then I consulted the doctor again and spoke to him. I said the pain had reduced like this. Actually they had suggested 21 days. But for me today is the 14th day. So tomorrow I am going to be discharged. In 14 days it has resolved completely. About 90% — I walk perfectly well. Before this I could not walk properly. I would walk leaning a little. I could not jump, could not strain myself, could not get into a car, could not sit for long. If I strained myself much my leg would hurt. But now there is no leg pain and it is normal without straining. The normal life I was leading before, before the avascular, is the same life I am leading now. There is no great pain. I will most certainly suggest this AVN Hospital for this treatment, and if you look at the service given here it is very good service. The people here are all very kind. If we mention something they respond at once. I have gone and taken treatment at a great many hospitals. But I have never seen responsibility to this extent. They see to us like a member of a family, consult us and look after us. There is no problem at all about that. Otherwise, as for the food, they give a strict diet, because they give us a strict diet for the treatment. Now, I used to be about 90 kg. Because of that there were some issues. Now I have lost weight as well. It is because of this food, this diet, that I have lost weight. My body is nicely active and I can see a good improvement from this food as well. Overall, if you look at this environment, it is a peaceful environment. We spend money and go off somewhere outside for this peace. Here there is so much peace. With this peace alone, just coming here will do something for us — it is that good, you could say. The doctor who gave me treatment was Dr. Ramesh. I first saw himin Chennai. He had told me what treatments should be done. I followed everything he said and it was good. Because I listened to Ramesh sir's advice, I am so healthy right now.
