My name is Kalimuthu. I have come from Karaikudi. I had a cervical problem and severe hip pain. I could not walk. I struggled for a very long time. I tried a great many English medicines. With those tablets it would ease somewhat from time to time, and then it would come again. For four or five years I was badly affected by it. Two or three people who work with me said this AVN Hospital is here, go and be seen. They said they had recovered well. On their word I came here. Here I saw Dr. Sridevi ma'am. I explained things to her in detail. She checked everything, and having checked properly she told me what problems I had and that if I took treatment in this way it would be good for me. Then she fixed a date and gave me ten days of treatment. Over all ten days they gave only Ayurvedic treatment; no allopathic medicines were used at all. It was all Ayurvedic medicine. All over, they rubbed oil in and gave fomentation. First they diagnosed what was causing our ailment, and said, this is why you have this ailment, and gave medicines for it. In that way it was good. I think the ten days here were exactly the right treatment as far as what was given to me. Because within those ten days it began to reduce little by little. Even at the time of being discharged to go home, I came to feel that the pain would not be a problem for me. So I have continued and come a second time and am taking this treatment. I have recovered well. The hospital here is very clean too. They say that if a hospital is clean to begin with, many ailments are kept at bay. It is like that in this hospital. It is always properly clean. Cleaning comes daily. Every day they change the covers on the bed in our room and do it daily. That cleanliness itself makes our ailment better. Next, the staff here are very polite. Elsewhere there tends to be a roughness in their manner. Here everything is gentle. That initself is a great help to us. There is no need here even to bring someone along to accompany you. A nurse comes to give the medicine. At what hour to go and eat, and likewise the food, they give it themselves. That food is good too. Without pungency or sourness, the food is good and gives the body what it needs. Here they give the treatment of rubbing in the oil. The therapists do it properly for us too. They speak to us very politely. They ask where you are from, where you are going, what your problem is. They deal with us almost as friends. That is very good for us. And the ailment gets better sooner. I think the reason for that is the way they go about it. Thank you.
