Osteoarthritis (knee) with shoulder pain
What happened
Mrs. Kalaivani, from Pondicherry, had osteoarthritis of the knee along with shoulder pain and could not move her hands and shoulders comfortably, making everyday tasks a challenge. My name is Kalaivani. As for coming to this hospital, my son chose it. He looked on the net and said, go to this hospital, all this pain will be cured. When I came I could not lift my arm or shoulder at all. Now it has come to about three-quarters. It is only when they tell me to go to physiotherapy that the pain increases. After that the doctor said, no, do not do the exercises, I will teach you. A lady doctor called Dr. Arya came, a gentleman doctor called Jyothish came, and after that the chief, Dr. Biju, came; he was the one who saw to it well and did the treatment and all of this; they did the oil massage. It is reasonably very good. The therapy — that is where the pain came. Otherwise I could not walk much. Having looked at the knee and all of this, and as soon as they gave the exercises for lifting the arm, now it is very good. The food is good. Suited to us — I have sugar, which I only found out after coming here. I have had sugar for eight months already. But because we were taking Ayurvedic medicine the sugar did not come down. Here they said, take one English medicine and let us see. After taking it the sugar has reduced to a reasonable extent. Now it is all right. The BP is normal. At first it was high. I had had BP for ten years. Now, after coming here, it is all normal. The nurse gives the tablets before food. All three times they come and give the tablets exactly. Everything clean; daily we change the bedsheets and all of it. We clean the room. Everything is good. The surroundings here are good for going walking. The evening is nice. Everyone attended well. The nurses — there is no shortcoming of any kind. Even if the water runs out, the moment we think the water has run out they come and ask. They give water. Everything is good. Now it is good.
