Jeya Lakshmi

Knee Osteoarthritis

What happened

For Mrs. Jeya Lakshmi, knee osteoarthritis had made walking, standing and climbing stairs painful and stiff, with limited success from other options. At AVN Arogya she received daily herbal oil massages and steam therapies, Panchakarma detox and plant-based medications to rebuild joint health. According to the video, within days her pain subsided, her knees became more flexible and her energy returned. (Based on the video description.)

Transcript of the video above.

Hello, I have come from Peraiyur. My name is Jeya Lakshmi. I work as a teacher. I had pain in my back. And then this leg pain was very bad. I could not even take one step. I came walking only with great difficulty. I came in pain. We were seen in one place. That was not right. Then my sister-in-law's daughter, that is my daughter-in-law — that girl told us about AVN Arogya. They told us about our hospital here. Come, you should not take treatment staying at home. You must come there and be seen, they said, and they came to tell us. I already rather liked Ayurveda. But I did not know this hospital existed. Then, when that girl told us, my daughter-in-law brought me and showed me here. It was Sridevi ma'am that we saw. Having seen me, they took an MRI scan and told me, and having looked at it they began the treatment. Today I walk well, to a reasonable extent. I walk. At this hospital — I have never stayed alone at any hospital until now. But at this hospital I stayed alone. Without anybody's company. Because they looked after me so well. Whether the food service, or all the therapists, they come to the room and take you along and bring you back to the room before they go. Likewise, a nurse comes at every time to give the tablets. Giving water, everything — they did not neglect me at all, they looked after everything well. Ma'am came frequently and saw what needed to be done, and accordingly — even if a bed was not right, if I said it was a bit hard, they changed it at once; they saw to the beds and everything at once.
