Jeevanantham, Madurai

My name is Jeevanantham. My age is 65. I come from Madurai. For the past 40 years my work has been a great deal of social action work among farmers, labourers, women and fisherfolk. About ten years ago I had some weakness and pain in my leg. I had already come to AVN hospital here and taken treatment. Now, over the past month, I had cervical pain. There was cervical pain on the right side. I have a great faith in India's traditional medicine. On the basis of that faith I came here to the AVN hospital in Madurai for treatment, so that this cervical pain, this neck pain, would go. I have been staying here since the thirtieth. They gave me good medical care and good exercises. They have given a great deal of treatment. I met Dr. Biju. A great many massage treatments took place. Now, in roughly the last five or six days, 75% of the pain has reduced. So I think this is work deserving of praise. This work must certainly continue. My one request is this: patients like us would have taken out insurance, and if Ayurvedic hospitals like this one were to work together with those insurance companies as well, it would certainly be something worth praising.
