So please introduce yourself. Hi, my name is Holger Müller I'm speaking to you from Madurai India From the AVN Arogia clinic and I would like to tell whoever's interested what a wonderful place this is Where are you from Mr. Holder? I am from Germany. I live in a small city about 50 kilometers near Frankfurt Okay, what is your nature of profession? I'm a web designer or as they call it today a full internet service company but recently I've actually given up my profession due to my medical circumstances which I will tell about shortly and I'm actually an artist now, a full-time artist now. What actually brought you here to Avian Arogya Ayurvedic Hospital? About one year ago I had a pretty severe aortic dissection. It happened out of the blue and it was a life-threatening experience, actually. The doctors in Germany have got no real solutions for that kind of illness. And I have a friend in Germany actually who is an Ayurvedic practitioner. So I went to his place to see what Ayurveda can do for me, if it's really the only thing that can be done is regulating the blood pressure as the doctors in Germany tell. And he said yeah there might be things we can do and so first I underwent treatment there. But he said to really go into the matter, I should go to specialists in India. And he happens to know the chief physician here, I think. And so he said if you really want to do something for yourself, some really good treatment, then go to Madurai and see what people can do for you there. So what was the overall experience? Are you satisfied with the treatments? Very much so. It's fantastic to see how the allopathic way, the western medicine and Ayurveda is combined in this place. I had a very good treatment, four weeks of what is called detoxification rejuvenation program. Unfortunately due to my medical circumstances they couldn't give me well what they said the full treatment basically you know so there are certain things that could couldn't be done to me do it was due to at the risk of further rupturing the arteries and everything but yeah I had a very good treatments different kind of massage treatments with paste applied to the skin purification treatments like purgation, enemas also this nasyam treatment which cleans the nose and all the word I don't know in English like the nose throat and everything you know yeah so I feel very good after all these treatments what are the good memories that you're carrying from Madurai? well Apart from what I've just said about the medical treatment, this place is for me the most significant thing is the hospitality. Starting from my therapist, the nurses and right down to the people in the restaurant, the housekeeping, the laundry people. It's fantastic. It's wearing a smile here and it makes me feel very, very much at home. I had a really, really good time and I'll be leaving day after tomorrow with really half of me smiling because I feel so well but there's also a little sad note going here because this place for the last... four and a half weeks just in my home you know and i felt really great here it was very very good time so the same kind of memories are there with our doctors also and also therapists they are also saying that you know they will be missing you very much okay and would you be interested to come next year for a program or would you like to refer your friends and acquaintances to us both clear yes to both of your questions clear yes you know because um and definitely we'll be coming again you know As I said, I felt great about it. What I have actually left out now is the actual results because when I came here I had a blood pressure from between 130-140 over 90-80 and now it's 110-120 over 70-80 even though I have cut my medication by a third. Well, according to the views of the doctors in Germany that is impossible but here I am and the instruments don't lie. It's fantastic you know and I think I won't be able to keep that up all the time in Germany because I will be back into the more stressful way of life in Europe and everything so what I'm planning is actually to come here. once a year and do their treatment. That's what I think. I've already spoken to some friends of mine in Germany who suffer from various things, like most of them have high blood pressure, and they said, oh, do you think this could be a place for us? And I said, yeah, well. So what I'm actually thinking about, my dream would be to come here in, let's say, October, November this year with three or four of my friends. That's what I'm looking forward to anyway.
