My name is Gyanamoorthy. I live in Thirunagar, Madurai. Just two months ago, as I was getting down from a bus, a two-wheeler coming from the opposite side struck me and I was thrown to the ground. At that time they said I had a hairline crack in my right shoulder. I went to an allopathic orthopaedic doctor. They took an X-ray and looked at it and said they would give painkiller tablets and that it would have to be managed. I did that and came away, but it did not seem to get better for me. The pain stayed the same. After that I thought, all right, let us come to AVN, and I came here on the 8th. I saw Dr. Arun sir. Arun sir examined me and gave some medicines. He gave the medicines and said, take them and come back in three to five days. Even after taking them the pain did not seem to me to have reduced. As soon as I came and asked, they said, get admitted and take the treatment. So on the 15th we were admitted. Now, with the treatment given here, it has healed to a reasonable extent, about 80%. So I am thinking I may be discharged tomorrow. It was the doctor who did that treatment. I am reasonably well now. As soon as I was admitted, Dr. Sridevi ma'am was the first to come and make the diagnosis. She asked what the cause was and how it had happened, and I gave the details — that I had fallen while getting down from the bus and been struck, and that there was a hairline crack. She said, all right, and told them to give me the treatment. The treatment became regular. I have been taking treatment regularly at 11 in the morning and 4:30 in the evening. Two young men came and gave the treatment daily — a boy called Ashok and a boy called Ayyanar, both of them gave the treatment daily. The facilities are good and they have given it well. The doctor ma'am also visited regularly in the morning between about 10:45 and 11:00 and asked for details, how the improvement was and soon. So it is going well, all the staff cooperate, and everyone does whatever you ask. I offer my thanks to all the staff and the doctors. In this treatment they said it was Ayurvedic treatment. They poured a great deal of oil on wherever the pain was worst and did massage. Along with that there was some herbal preparation, and they gave a heat fomentation. That heat fomentation was good for me. Otherwise there is no problem at all. I am well for now. Beyond the oil treatment, they have given me medicines for a month for when I leave, and oil as well, and they have told me to apply that oil where the pain is and give fomentation, and that it will all come right.
