My name is Bharathi and I come from Madurai. I have come here to AVN Arogya Ayurvedic Hospital, Vilachery, for treatment. Actually I had very severe back pain. I could not manage my day-to-day routine life. I could not move at all, like. Bending down, straightening up, every problem — there were a lot of these problems. I came here and saw Dr. Biju, and then what they diagnosed was sciatica, and they said treatment had to be done. So I took admission here for about 1 week and am having the treatment. As for admission here, now in Covid time I was initially a little afraid about how to be hospitalised. But for all the patients who come here they say vaccination is compulsory. They only admit patients after they have been vaccinated and have had a blood test, a complete blood count. Besides that, they do the RT-PCR test compulsorily. So through taking that test, either the RT-PCR test or having been vaccinated — so since they only admit you on these two conditions, I feel very comfortable and safe while staying here. Because all the staff here, when I asked, all the staff have been vaccinated. They have had both, the double vaccine. So I feel very safe here. Besides that, if you look at the doctors here, they are very, very much caring. They come on daily rounds. So they judge our treatment according to how much improvement there is daily. They improvise on what treatment to give next. So from about the third day after I came here I see a lot of improvement in my daily activities. Now I have almost 90% of all my problems sorted out. Besides this, the doctor prescribed medicine for two months. Physiotherapy suggested, exercises to do. So hopefully I will be 100% out of this problem in the next few days. Besides that the staff are very courteous. The therapists come to the room itself and take you along. So apart from that, everybody from reception to the therapists alltake good care. They come to the room daily and ask what you need. Whatever issues we have, they come from the quality department and ensure it, asking whether we are comfortable. Every service here is the best. Now actually at first I was a little afraid even of going outside and taking orthopaedic treatment outside. Because I did not know whether allopathic treatment would suit my body. So I preferred Ayurveda. So if you ask what the treatment here is like, it is the Ayurvedic oil massages and that sort of thing, and then detoxification, like doing some therapies in Panchakarma. So because they address the cause — what our problem is and from what cause it began — and treat that, we are able to come out of that problem completely. Dr. Biju sir, and Dr. Arya. So they monitor us closely and watch all our movement. They watch how much improvement there is. So I thank especially Dr. Biju sir and Dr. Sreeja ma'am and Dr. Arya.
