I am Sundari and I came to AVN Hospital for treatment from Madurai. As for taking treatment, the person who first introduced me to this hospital was my friend. She lives in Thiruppalai and her name is Santhosham. She and her son came here for treatment. They said they were taking good treatment here and that her leg pain had come right. So I thought I too would come and see at this hospital, and before taking treatment I came here on 4 January, about 15 days before. At that time I saw Dr. Biju sir. Before that, four doctors asked me about everything in detail and took the whole history. I had pain in the shoulder and likewise a very bad pain in the wrist of my hand. I could not put on a blouse or take it off; my arm was that much of a problem for me. I was at the point of needing someone else's help. Then, when I got an appointment with Dr. Biju sir and went to see him, he heard everything and said, come within two or three days, stay here and take treatment. Because it was Pongal time I said, sir, I will come and be admitted after about 15 days. They gave me the medicine for that for 15 days. On 22 January I came here and was admitted. Here they gave me the oil massage treatment. In the morning they give a decoction, twice, morning and evening. After that they give all the medicines in the same way. Whatever our body needs, they see to that and give the treatment suited to it. Here, with today, it has been 10 days, and this oil massage, the nurses' attention and care, and then the people who clean the room, and then the oil treatment massage they gave me — from bathing me to giving me every kind of help, all the nurses treated me splendidly and gave me the treatment. It was very happy for my heart. In between, on the last Sunday of the month, they hold a programme here for the people who work here. I got that opportunity after I came. I had a heaviness, a weight inmy mind that was mine alone. Watching the dance and the songs, I enjoyed myself happily. Now my arm pain here has healed 75 out of 100. Now I can lift my arm well. I can take it behind me. The doctors and the nurses and the doctor madam and every single person who works there said that the remaining 25% of the pain would heal little by little. They all behaved very affectionately with us. I cannot forget any of them. Because everyone became like a member of my own family. So now, for this 25% of pain, they have given medicine, decoction and oil, and likewise for the food — spice, sourness, salt, sweet; I have sugar. So I must not eat sweets, and I must follow it like this, and if I follow it accordingly, I have confidence in myself that I will heal completely. The doctor has told me to come again after 21 days, and I will come then fully healed and see everyone. Thanks to everyone here.
