Selvam

I am G. Selvam, a class one contractor, and I come from Varadhini Nagar. On the 16th of last month, through a friend, I came to know of this hospital for the first time. I was first introduced to Dr. Biju. On that date he looked at my whole history and everything I have had until now, verified it, and asked me to get a scan taken. Having come on the sixteenth, he gave some medicines for fifteen days, and as soon as those were finished he asked me to get the scan taken and come back on the fourth. Accordingly I finished the fifteen days, had the scan taken and came with the admission card. They first said one week. Then he said, stay another week. All right — fifteen days; fourteen days have passed now. Tomorrow, most likely, I think they say it is discharge. To a reasonable extent, the complaint I came for was a constipation and mouth problem; that is what I came for. But he had already identified, through this scan, the condition I had previously been treated for with back pain. Twenty-seven years ago at CMC I was operated on for a C5-C6 disc that had been displaced. But now, twenty-seven years on, it has reached something of a failure stage and the same problem keeps recurring for me. Even then I could not tell the difference. After that treatment I can now see the difference to a reasonable extent, and I am recovering. Two days ago he even said that after I go home, in about ten days, I will feel considerably better. So to a reasonable extent, I have only now come to know that this hospital exists. I feel it is a somewhat different hospital in a somewhat different setting. On the fourth, the day I came, they began the therapy. They began again. On the first day it was oil and powder, they said. That sort of thing went on for two or three days. Likewise one person in the morning and one in the evening, and that went on for four or five days. After that Dr. Aaryama'am came. When I said it would be good for me if it were a single person, and said I was making the request, they said at once, all right, some five or six people have come to you so far — tell us who, and we will tell them ourselves. The young man Anand was the one who came to me on the first day. Otherwise six or seven people came. Even so I was reasonably satisfied. I gave the name. So from then on they gave it themselves. It is reasonably good. It is good. For the first three or four days it was oil plus powder, they said. Next, oil — they pour the oil itself. Having poured it they put you in a steam bath. They did that for two or three days. After that, the oil in the morning and the evening, and each time there is something different. Then for the last four days it has been oil in the morning and then milk; they do it with milk. All of it comes out rather differently and well. They do it properly for an hour. We are reasonably satisfied. Next, the nurses — there have been no problems at all so far. Reasonably, when you call them they respond at once, they come, they see to it. Housekeeping, no problem at all. It is reasonably normal. It is a very good hospital to go to.
