Mrs. Saranya had multiple system atrophy (MSA), a rare neurodegenerative disorder affecting her balance, movement and ability to walk, after other treatments gave limited results. At AVN Arogya she underwent personalised therapies including Panchakarma, physiotherapy support, herbal medications and rejuvenation treatments. According to the video she noticed improved leg strength, balance and body coordination, marking a significant step in her recovery. (Based on the video description. Distinct from Mrs. Saranya Kannan, a separate sacroiliitis patient in this database.)

Hello, my name is Saranya. I come from Melur. Actually I work in Ramanathapuram. For eight years I have been unable to walk at all. I could not get onto a bus. I would panic a great deal. I would stumble and could not walk straight at all. I would walk stumbling and stumbling. With that, I was going to Ramanathapuram by bus to the bus stand itself. Saying it was becoming a problem, someone at our office — he was the one who said, we had treatment here for my wife and it came right. You go and see too, madam; you will certainly see a better improvement, he said. When we came here and were seen, it was Dr. Biju sir who saw us. As soon as he saw, he said it. He said, you have a problem of the kind that cannot be cured; you know that, and everyone knows it. Have you consulted before, he asked. Truly, when I had gone and asked at two or three hospitals, they had said it cannot be cured, it will be like this for you. Sir said, mother, it cannot be cured, it will be like this. But we will get you to do what you are able to do; we will give you improvement; we will get you to the point of doing everything about 70%, and only about 30% is a question — that is what he said. They said 21 days of treatment; in the 21 days I noticed nothing for as much as 14 days, but after that, as the days went on, a good improvement. Now I climbed up and down the steps; if there are steps I go up and down them. A good improvement shows. I never thought I would come right. That it would come right — for me it would always be like this. Right until the end, changing from hospital to hospital, it was like this. I went to a lot of places, and everywhere they said it cannot be done, it will be like this, let us see, let us see. But here I came and saw Biju sir, and it has responded well. All of this is happening outside; because I would walk easily indoors, for about 15 days I had been walkingindoors. It was the doctor who said, do not walk indoors, go outside and walk; and they taught me to look at the environment here and walk about looking and enjoying it. Now I can walk outside too, and the environment outside was very clean and neat. The nurses here looked after me very well. The tablets — at home I would certainly leave out one tablet or another. Here, three times a day the nurses came exactly and gave them and gave them. They did everything well. Even the room they come and clean daily. The housekeeping was superb. And the nursing. If we have no water there is a kind of switch; they tell you to press it. If you press it they come at once and bring water and give it. There is no problem at all; they look after you well. I did not have anyone stay with me. I was alone. But I did not feel at all as though I were alone. Because everyone looked after me. Whatever I asked, they would come to the room at once.
