Good evening. My name is Raseena Parveen. I work in the United Arab Emirates. I am a Madurai girl; I went from here to work there. While I was working there I developed terrible pain in many joints and consulted doctors there. They looked at the blood tests and said it was rheumatoid arthritis, and told me I would have to take steroids. So initially I took steroids for a month. What happened with that was that I gained a great deal of weight. After that weight gain, still more difficulties came on top of it. So I told my mother in Madurai, you look locally there; I will have my treatment done in India. Then there was a doctor we knew, Dr. Vignesh, who is nearby at Kottakkal. He examined me fully — I had seen him before, so he looked at all my lab reports. He said it would be best to stay as an inpatient and be treated; I only see outpatients, he said, and it was he who introduced us to AVN Arogya Hospital. He told me to go and see Dr. Biju. I took leave for this and came here for 15 days. Dr. Biju said, certainly stay as an inpatient and be treated, even though you are from Madurai. When I first came I had come with a plan, but even so, once I arrived, since my house is right nearby, I stayed wondering whether I needed to be an inpatient and whether it would be comfortable. But the services were many times beyond my expectation, and very good. I am not saying this just for the sake of talking; I am saying it from experience. So first of all, the cleaning of the room, the hygiene. Very clean, well looked after — you can come and stay here without the slightest hesitation. Very good cleaning. Then the nursing services. They come the moment you call. There is no hesitation about any task. They never forget any detail of our medicines. Another thing I noticed and liked very much about this hospital is the communication. If a patient has an issue — the therapists here areseparate and give the therapy; physiotherapy is separate; the nursing staff who give the medicines are separate. But every one of them knows within the next minute what has happened with that patient. You need only tell one person, and that communication is passed to everyone immediately and up to the doctor, and within the next half hour, when the doctor sees you and mentions the matter, it is genuinely astonishing. How on earth did they gather so much information so quickly? Communication like that is very amazing. The doctors visit regularly. They mention your small requirements and anything that is difficult for you. Duty doctors visit every day. They visit before the treatment, and after the treatment they visit again and ask what happened. Beyond that, quality check comes regularly and asks whether all the facilities you need in your room are as they should be, so that nothing is lacking at all. At most, if a bulb is not working or a fan is not working, within a maximum of half an hour it is dealt with immediately. Fast, first class service, to the standard of a resort. Above all, if you look at where this place is set, it is at the foot of the hill, very quiet and beautiful. You can sit outside on your own — you need not spend separately and go off to any resort. You can come and stay here. Whether it is the therapists or anyone else, they all look after you very well. I had 75% complete pain relief within 10 days. Before this, if anyone touched me I would cry out. The pain was that bad, and now I move about freely. Having finished ten days of treatment, I am leaving today. Insha'Allah, they have given the same medicine. I will come back after another three months. And I recommend this particular hospital not only to you but to everyone. Family members I know are already struggling a great deal. I have booked consultations for two of them. Come. And in sayingall of this, one thing must certainly be said: the fee is very nominal. I have come from abroad like this, and even so — if you go and look elsewhere, there is one fee for foreigners and another for locals. Looking at this fee and at the bill, I was astonished. To tell the truth, they do it at such a nominal and very fair price. So the services are amazing.
