Hello, my name is Karthik. I have come from Trichy. Actually, after Covid I developed this thing called AVN, avascular necrosis. I had tried a great many doctors in allopathic medicine. And in that it came to the point where it was only surgery for me. So while I was looking for whether there was anything else, anything better, without surgery, it occurred to me that I might try Ayurveda. Then, while searching on Google, I came to know of AVN Ayurveda Hospital, Madurai. Then I came here first as an outpatient, thinking I would just have a consultation. Dr. Biju was the one who first consulted with me. As per the doctor's advice, he said, stay here and just have a course of treatment, because for you it can be done entirely through therapy — to avoid surgery. I said all right, and after one week we came and were admitted. They had told me about fifteen days here. Then, two therapies each day — oil therapy, powder, then massage, oil massage; they did two therapies per day like this. Then, each day, two duty doctors and Dr. Biju would all come and see to it. As for the service, the facilities, the food facilities and the beverages were all excellent. We had not even imagined that the service here would be like this. Plus, I have never seen service like this anywhere before. They have set up a quality department that takes feedback daily — I had expected they would only ask at the end. But they take feedback on a daily basis. Based on the feedback they keep making a great many improvements. But as far as I know, what they gave me daily was simply the best and excellent, because the service was that superb. When I came I struggled even to walk. I could not tolerate the pain. But beforehand they had taken from me where all the pain was, my full medical history and everything, and based the treatment accordingly, starting daily from the basics and building the treatment upto level, up to the mark — what could be done and how far it should be taken for a person. They advised exactly and gave it to me exactly. Now I have come back to a normal quality of life. Truly, with the nerve compression — now if you tell me to walk, a normal life, walking, normal, I can do all of it. In every hospital they hand you the medicine, say this is it, and go. But only here, for all three sessions — morning, afternoon and before night — they prepare what is needed, saying before food or after food, and having done all that they give us the tablet and support us before they leave. That is how much care the nurses take. Then, as for housekeeping, everywhere else you have to keep calling and calling to get work done. But here, they come and say, sir, we must do this, we will clean, ma'am, we will do this — that much cleaning, that much cleanliness and neatness; it is superb. Actually we would not call this a hospital. In some hospitals you go and there is that hospital feel. But this is not a hospital atmosphere. It is fully and completely a home atmosphere. So as far as I know, this is one of the best treatments I have had in my life. So thanks to the doctors and thanks to the AVN Ayurveda Medical Centre.
