Hello, my name is Boominathan. I come from Vadapalani, Chennai. I had a stroke about six months ago. As soon as the stroke came, six months ago, I was first admitted to Apollo Hospital and stayed a week. I stayed a week and there they got me to the point where I could speak somewhat. After that I went and saw Ramachandra as well. There I saw a doctor, a physiotherapist. He gave some tablets. Then I carried on as I was. Nothing was happening quickly, so then I looked on the internet. This AVN Hospital in Madurai — they said they give treatment in Ayurveda. I have liked Ayurveda from the beginning. So having seen it on the internet I came here, and there was Dr. Rajeev. As soon as I saw him at the AVN Ayurvedic Hospital in Madurai, he said to stay twenty-one days for treatment. Here they gave oil treatment. Pouring oil on the head, oil massage, pouring milk — they gave all of that and did everything, and brought me to the point where I could walk to about 75%. The nurses here, the doctors, the physiotherapists all looked after me well. Everyone — from the person who serves the food to the youngest nurses — was like an elder sister, younger sister, elder brother, younger brother born alongside us. They kept everything clean and looked after it well. There is nothing lacking in any respect. Everything in this hospital was kept healthy and well. I offer my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rajeev. I offer my heartfelt thanks to this hospital as well. I had become very dispirited. Because this illness came to me I was badly worn down, in mind and in body. But as soon as I arrived here I found a new life and a new strength.
