Arumugam, Dindigul

My name is Arumugam and I come from a place called Mathamin Dindigul district. I have had back pain for about 7 or 8 years. Back, neck and hip pain. For that I had treatment in a lot of places. I mostly did not take allopathy and took Ayurveda. I used to go to Kerala and take treatment. If I went and stayed there a week or ten days and took treatment and came back, I would have no pain for the next year. Then, because of that Covid problem, since there was no transport at all to go to Kerala for more than a year, I said, all right, is there anything locally here, and searched. Through a friend I came to know that there is a centre called AVN at Pasumalai on the Vilachery road in Madurai. I said, all right, let us see this, and I came on the 12th for a consultation. When I came and looked, right at the entrance they gave full importance to Covid and all of it. They checked the temperature, and only after that did they send us inside. After going in and seeing the doctor and being examined, a confidence came to me that they could put our pain right. So I said all right, and within the next 3 days, from the 15th, I came to be admitted here for 1 week. Even before coming they said it was compulsory that one could only enter with a negative Covid test. So I took the test for that too and gave the negative certificate, and next I have been staying here a week. In this one week my back pain has reduced a great deal. I can feel it; it is really good. Secondly, the doctor coming to see me here, coming to each room and seeing us, and secondly the food facilities, the nursing, the room cleaning — they do all of it very well. It is not at all like having come here for a treatment. I feel as though I took the treatment while staying at home. When I came and was seen here it was the one called Dr. Biju that I consult. When consulting, he asked and learned what sorts of things Ihad, how long I had had it and what treatment I had taken so far, and agreed for me to take this treatment. In the morning, an hour or an hour and a half of full body massage. Likewise after that, the giving of fomentation, and they did all those procedures. In the same way they did it properly for about an hour in the evening. Compared with the other places where I have had it done, the equipment they used here was very modern and convenient. So I am very satisfied at having had it done here.
